    Breathe Easy Enamel can be used on wood, metal and plastered surfaces.

     

    Recommended application

     

    Surface preparation

     

    • Sand surface with emery paper 150 and wipe clean.

    • Apply thin coats of putty (preferably Breathe Easy putty) to _ll in all the dents and dry for 6 to 8 hours. Sand surface with emery paper 400 and wipe clean.

    • Apply the _rst coat of primer and dry for 6 to 8 hours

    • For previously painted surfaces

    • Strip all the old paint from the surface and wipe clean before starting the above process.

     

    Priming

     

    • Breathe Easy multi-surface primer can be used as undercoat for wood, metal and plastered surfaces. However, the following primer can also be used.

    • For metal surfaces – Luxol Zinc Chromate Primer Yellow/Butterfly Anticorrosive Red Oxide Metal Primer.

    • For wooden surface – Parrot Wood Primer + Luxol kni_ng putty.

    • For walls or plastered surface – BP Cement Primer S/T or W/T + Happy Wall Acrylic Putty.

    • Breathe Easy Enamel can also be used as self-priming coat by diluting it in the ratio of 1:1 with water by volume.

     

    Top Coat

     

    • Sand primer surface with emery paper (No 320/400). Wipe o_ the dust and apply _nish coat of Breathe Easy Enamel

     

    Application procedure

     

    Apply Breathe Easy Enamel liberally using a brush or roller and finish the job in three strokes – vertical, horizontal and vertical. Do not overdo this as it might result in brush marks. Do not apply Breathe Easy Enamel at temperatures below 10°C or above 40°C or if the relative humidity is more than 65% or less than 40%.

     

    Post application care

     

    Please allow at least three to four weeks before cleaning painted surfaces.

    Breathe Easy Emulsion can be applied on plastered surfaces, false ceiling, asbestos sheets, concrete, etc.

     

    Recommended application

     

    Surface preparation

     

    • Remove all loose flakes, dirt and dust from the surface.

    • Fill any cracks or undulations with putty (preferably Breathe Easy Putty) or cement-sand mixture, whichever required. Allow it to dry.

     

    Primer

     

    • Apply one coat of BP Cement Primer or Breathe Easy Multi-surface Primer and dry for 6-8 hrs.

     

    Top Coat

     

    • Dilute 1 ltr Breathe Easy Emulsion with 400-450 ml water. Apply 2-3 coats, allowing each coat to dry for at least 6-8 hrs.

     

    Post-application instructions

     

    Remove stains using a sponge and mild soap solution. Ensure a drying time of at least one week before cleaning.

     

    Post application care

    • Quick drying and thus the primer coat and one top coat can be applied in the same day, resuts in labor savings

    • Better top coat gloss compared to conventional water based primer

    • No problem of yellowing as it's a pure acrylic formulation

    • Gives around 20% higher coverage. However this also depends on the type of substrate

    •  

    Breathe Easy multi-surface primer can be applied on indoor surfaces such as doors, windows, wood cabinets and metal surfaces like grills, window panes etc and on well-prepared masonry substrates.

     

    Recommended application

     

    Surface preparation

     

    • Remove loose dirt, flakes of old paint, fungus marks, soil etc from the surface using emery paper 180.

    • Hairline cracks should be filled with putty and dried for 24 hours. Surface should be smooth before primer application.

     

    Priming

     

    • Apply one coat of Breathe Easy multi-surface primer liberally. Let it dry overnight.

    • Sand the surface with emery paper 220 and apply another coat if needed. Dry completely before application of top coat.

    • Performance: Excellent finish with superior abrasion resistance and durability.

    • Environment Friendly: Since it is not a solvent based product the emission of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) is very less.

    • Low Odour: The negligible odour eases the discomfiture and health problems. The low odour and low emission of VOC allows you to use the facility soon after painting.

    •  

    Water based lacquer coating that is used for Interior wooden surface and furniture. It can also be used for wooden flooring. It is one component multi coat system available in Semi gloss and Matt finish.

     

    Application

     

    • This system is a multi-coat system. Generally four coats are recommended.

    • It can be applied by Brush or Spray. Spray application is recommended only for a better finish. Only Matt finish is available.
